  • Conduct legal research and analysis, translate findings into clear recommendations, and support their implementation across the business.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders across various functions to facilitate effective collaboration and drive business objectives.
  • Deliver legal training sessions and share knowledge with internal teams to promote legal awareness and best practices.
  • Monitor relevant legal and regulatory developments, particularly within the payments and financial services industry, and assess their impact on the business.

What you need to be successful in this role

  • Preferably a full legal qualification (1st and 2nd State Exam) or comparable. Successfully completed legal studies in a major European jurisdiction, with above-average academic results, and a strong interest in pursuing a broad, generalist legal role within the fintech, payments, or financial services industry.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably gained in an in-house legal department, law firm, or a similarly regulated environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
  • A structured, proactive, and independent working style, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A pragmatic business mindset with the ability to provide commercially focused legal advice while balancing legal, operational, and technical considerations.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly, concisely, and in a solution-oriented manner.
  • Professional fluency in English and German, both written and spoken.
  • Please note that we will not sponsor your visa or relocation, and you must have a valid work permit to be eligible for this position.

What's next?

  • Does it sound exciting? - Apply with your CV in English or German. Please don’t shy away if you don’t meet all the requirements! We’re looking forward to meeting you.
  • We will get back to you within 14 days of receiving your application.
