Are you looking to take the next step in your career? We are looking for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon for our Filton and Patchway practices. The role will be predominantly based at our Filton practice, with 1–2 days per week at our Patchway clinic.

As Lead Vet, you'll take responsibility for the day-to-day operations of both branches, ensuring the smooth running of each practice, updating protocols, leading branch meetings and supporting your local team.

Filton is a single-vet practice offering a mix of surgery and consulting, while Patchway is a consulting-only branch. This role is ideal for someone looking to combine clinical work with their first leadership opportunity.

Practice Highlights

  • Supported by our long-standing RVN and reception team
  • Join our newly refurbished premesis, with excellent facilities and a chance to make the role your own
  • Close links to our other Zetland branches and main hospital for additional clinical support

  • Manage a varied first-opinion caseload, including consultations and routine surgery
  • Update practice protocols and implement new processes to continually improve the service we provide

Working Pattern

  • 37.9 hours per week with a fixed day off
  • 8:30am–6:30pm across 4 days per week
