The Role

As a Product Operations Lead, you are a key driver of operational excellence for a cross-functional squad within our R&D organization. This senior individual contributor role will support our Data squad who will work closely with our Senior Director of Data Science.

You will focus on managing critical initiatives to scale launching and updating machine learning models, support agentic/predictive/conversational/assistive AI-powered features across multiple vertical squads, improve tooling and best practices for A/B experimentation across multiple functions.

This role would also work closely with our Finance and Data Analytics teams to ensure we are aligned on critical KPIs across our Product org. Ensure that we have intuitive and accurate dashboards and reports to monitor performance, maintain clean data and process hygiene, and other similar responsibilities that require strong data acumen.

You sit at the intersection of technical execution and strategic planning, helping to bridge the gap between product, engineering, and go-to-market teams. This role is designed for a high-potential individual who is ready to move beyond task execution into owning distinct work-streams and improving systemic processes.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lifecycle Friction Identification: Proactively identify, analyze, and propose solutions for moderately complex friction points in the product lifecycle, from discovery to launch.
  • Process Optimization & Execution: Streamline operational workflows and process hygiene across squads to ensure consistent delivery velocity and team alignment.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Build positive, effective working relationships across Product, Engineering, Design, and other teams to align expectations and drive execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure that the right contributors and cross-functional stakeholders are brought in at the right time and expectations are aligned.
  • Data & Metrics: Support the continuous monitoring of KPIs and OKRs, providing data-driven insights to help squads measure performance and make operational decisions.
  • Operational Decision Support: Guide your assigned team in translating metrics and performance trends into actionable insights to help squads make sound operational decisions.
  • Tooling Support: Help manage the product tech stack (roadmapping and collaboration tools), ensuring they are optimized for team use.
  • Strategic Contribution: Assist in the quarterly planning process and help align individual team efforts with the broader business strategy.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Experience: 6–10 years in product operations, business operations, or program management. Demonstrates success in supporting a large complex cross-functional group in a Product Operations and/or Program Management role.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong proficiency to conduct root-cause analysis across a wide variety of problems, use first-principles thinking to determine solutions, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve conflicts or impediments proactively and independently.
  • Communication: Proven ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge: Able to grasp a solid understanding of our business and various product strategies. Familiar with implementing various project methodologies and a growing familiarity with financial principles related to project/product delivery.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work with teams to determine KPIs that are aligned to the team’s strategies and priorities and to partner with data analysts to ensure that we have appropriate dashboards for performance transparency, monitoring, and action.
