About the role

monday.com is the AI work platform powering the most ambitious teams. 250,000+ customers across departments use us to bring people, workflows, and AI agents together on one flexible platform where AI doesn't just assist, it executes. We move fast, build things that matter, and foster an ownership-driven culture where you're empowered to shape how organizations work and outpace their competition.

AI Workflows sits at the intersection of deterministic automation and agentic reasoning — workflows that don't just execute steps, they reason through them. Our goal is to give monday's users, technical or not, the depth and power of a dedicated automation platform, wrapped in the design clarity and product craft monday is known for. As Design Lead, you'll own that vision end to end, working as an equal partner to your PM and engineering counterparts, with direct visibility into senior leadership.

About The Role

  • Conceptualize, define, and ship end-to-end agentic experiences — from how users build, configure, and trust AI-powered work, to how agents and assistants communicate, act, and hand off work back to humans.
  • Design new interaction paradigms for human–AI collaboration that don't yet have a playbook, and help establish the patterns the broader monday ecosystem will adopt.
  • Optimize your own impact by adopting new AI tools, workflows, and methodologies — and champion the shift in how we work.
  • Take full ownership of features end to end — from ideation and discovery through to polished execution on Desktop and Mobile.
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leads to define strategic priorities and roadmaps for your domain.
  • Partner with UX Research and Product Analytics to test, iterate, and validate your ideas with real users and real usage data.
  • Contribute to monday.com's broader design culture — sharing learnings, driving best practices, and pushing our craft forward.

Requirments

  • 7+ years of product design experience.
  • High AI fluency and a proven track record working with Vibe Coding tools, Coding Agents, and shipping experiences to production.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating shipped products and features that drove real impact, both for Desktop and Mobile.
  • Exceptional interaction and visual design skills with high attention to detail.
  • Experience working with and leveraging an existing Design System.
  • Strong systems design skills and the ability to envision how interactions come together to generate holistic and consistent experiences across multiple platforms and devices.
  • Comfort designing for ambiguity, non-deterministic systems, and emerging interaction models.
  • Ability to validate and iterate designs through research, experimentation, and live usage data.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a team-first mindset.
  • High level of written and spoken English.

Nice to have

  • Prior SaaS / B2C / enterprise-focused experience.
  • Experience designing for AI, automation, or agentic products.

Why this role?

This is not "just another design role." This is a unique opportunity to shape monday's agentic vision from the inside — designing 0-to-1 experiences that don't yet exist in the market, and helping define how millions of people will work alongside AI.

With AI opening massive opportunities both for our users and ourselves, you'll join a team that is living the AI transformation first-hand, always pushing the boundaries on how we work to become more productive and relevant in an ever-changing environment.
