We are always on the lookout for motivated, skilled, and passionate people to join our team.

If you're seeking an opportunity to grow your career, work in a supportive environment, and contribute to meaningful projects, we want to hear from you.

The Food and Linen Services at Mackay Base Hospital is regularly recruiting and is currently inviting applications for a Laundry Assistant on a casual basis.

This frontline support role provides essential support enabling the development and delivery of frontline services, programs and outcomes.

How it Works

  • Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) helps us identify suitable applicants for future opportunities.
  • If deemed suitable, you may be contacted to participate in further selection processes (e.g. interview, reference checks, pre-employment checks).
  • Placement in a talent pool may result in an offer of employment within the relevant timeframe; however, appointment to a role is not guaranteed.
  • Submitting an EOI does not automatically include you in consideration for advertised vacancies. To apply for a specific vacancy with Mackay Hospital and Health Service, please apply via the Smart Jobs website.
  • For information on how to apply and the mandatory requirements for this role, please refer to the attached Role Description.
