As an Inpatient Psychiatrist at Precourt Healing Center, you’ll have the opportunity to practice in a behavioral health environment created specifically to expand access to high-quality psychiatric care in Colorado’s mountain communities. More than simply an inpatient setting, Precourt represents Vail Health’s significant investment in creating a more connected continuum of behavioral healthcare and addressing a critical need within the region.

Why consider this opportunity?

  • 7 days on, 7 days off staffing model
  • Sign-on bonus
  • Relocation support

  • Eligible for up to $120,000 through the Colorado Health Service Corps loan repayment program
  • Practice at Precourt Healing Center, a dedicated behavioral health facility designed to expand access to psychiatric and behavioral healthcare in the mountain region
  • Be part of a broader vision for integrated behavioral healthcare, creating stronger connections across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based services
  • Opportunity to help shape and grow behavioral health services as the program continues to evolve
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care

The Role

As an Inpatient Psychiatrist, you’ll work alongside 3 other psychiatric providers to provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication management to patients requiring inpatient behavioral health care. You’ll partner closely with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and help patients successfully transition to the appropriate next level of care. On-call is only for 2 of the 7 days on shift.

This is an opportunity to do more than step into an established practice. You’ll be part of an organization making a substantial commitment to changing how behavioral healthcare is delivered in Colorado’s mountain communities.

What We're Looking For

  • MD or DO Board certified or board eligible in Psychiatry
  • Eligible for Colorado medical licensure
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered behavioral healthcare
  • Collaborative approach to multidisciplinary care

Practice With Purpose. Live with Balance.

At Precourt Healing Center, you’ll have the opportunity to help build the future of behavioral healthcare in a community where access to psychiatric services truly matters.
