Location: North America - Remote (Texas)

Company: ICG Medical

Budget: $75,000 - $85,000

About Us

At ICG Medical, we’re passionate about making a difference in healthcare. As a global leader in healthcare staffing and recruitment, we connect exceptional professionals with organizations that need them most. Our mission is to support the healthcare industry with integrity, innovation, and care—and we’re growing our team to do just that.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist – North America (NOAM) to lead our HR function across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic leadership with hands-on HR operations, ensuring compliance, consistency, and excellence across all jurisdictions.

As the regional HR expert, you’ll oversee everything from onboarding and payroll to benefits, employee relations, and compliance. You’ll work closely with our Finance, Onboarding, and Credentialing teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders—ensuring a seamless and engaging employee experience aligned with ICG Medical’s global people strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR operations across the USA, Mexico, and Canada, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Oversee I-9 verification, onboarding compliance, and employee documentation.
  • Manage benefits administration, HSA reporting, and COBRA processes.
  • Handle payroll oversight, statutory reporting (e.g., W-2s, Form 941), and reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
  • Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance, and conduct matters.
  • Coordinate workers’ compensation claims, FICA adjustments, and breach resolutions.
  • Liaise with HUB International on health policy renewals and employee communications.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, support policy updates, and respond to day-to-day HR queries.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on employment and compliance matters.

What We’re Looking For

  • A seasoned HR professional with experience across multi-state HR operations in the U.S.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and compliance (essential).
  • Exposure to HR/payroll practices in Mexico and Canada (desirable).
  • Experience managing payroll, benefits, and employee relations in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CIPD) is strongly preferred.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative, mission-driven culture.

Why Join ICG Medical?

You’ll be part of a purpose-led organization that values people, innovation, and impact. We offer a supportive, flexible work environment, opportunities for growth, and the chance to shape the future of healthcare staffing across North America.
