About the role
Looking for FT, HHA positions in Williamsport, PA (Williamsport High School) and Hughesville, PA (Daycare)
MAIN FUNCTION:
A member of the health care team who provides assistance to pediatric clients with personal care, activities of daily living,
and maintenance and management of household routines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Each Home Health Aide must:
1. Have at least one year of verifiable work experience in a hospital, nursing home, community health agency,
private-duty home care case,
OR
Have at least one year of verifiable work experience in an unrelated field and have successfully completed a 75
hour Home Health Aide training course approved by BAYADA Home Health Care Nursing Office,
- Be CPR certified, and
- Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English, and/or the predominant language of
the client to be serviced, and
- Pass the BAYADA Pediatric Home Health Aide Examination with a score of 70% or better, and
- Demonstrate competency in appropriate child care skills as assessed by the Pediatric Clinical Manager or
designee, and
- Have a background criminal check completed including child abuse screening in states where it is available, and
- Meet all state requirements for Home Health Aides
