Banding: Band 6

Working Pattern: Core hours only
Hourly Rate: £25 - £31
We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Histology to join our client’s team in West Sussex. This is a full-time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.
Key Responsibilities
You will process and embed tissue samples, perform microtomy, and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.
Qualifications and Experience
- HCPC registration
- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
- Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory
- Experience with microtomy and staining techniques
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- NHS experience (required)
