About the role

As Head of Workplace Operations (m/f/d), you own the on-the-ground experience of our sites, from the moment someone walks through the front door to the way the building runs behind the scenes. You lead 2 teams at our German HQ: Front Desk & Hospitality and Facility Management. Furthermore you carry responsibility across multiple sites. Beyond your own locations, you give guidance and "handrails" to national and international subsidiaries, so that all sites share a consistent image and common standards. You report to the Director People & Talent, and work in close collaboration with the internal global Real Estate Expansion team to turn group-wide standards into reliable execution everywhere Agile Robots operates.

Your Responsibilities

Lead the team

  • Lead, coach and develop the Front Desk & Hospitality and Facility Management Team Leads and their teams (approx. 13 people combined)
  • Build out the team as the function grows across sites
  • Be the first point of escalation for workplace incidents and operational issues

Oversee Front Desk & Hospitality

  • Set standards and quality expectations for reception, guest services, catering, amenities, and travel bookings
  • Ensure consistent delivery across 7+ German sites

Oversee Facility Management

  • Own accountability for safety & emergency management, office infrastructure, sustainability & energy management, car fleet, company apartments, maintenance & repairs, move managament, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure consistent standards and quality across 7+ German sites

Lead across multiple sites

  • Take operational responsibility for workplace services across 7+ sites in Germany from offices to R&D Labs and production sites
  • Give guidance and "handrails" to national and international subsidiaries, so that front desk, facility and workplace services follow a consistent image and shared standards group-wide
  • Act as the standards and quality reference point that subsidiary teams can turn to for workplace and facility topics

Partner across the organization

  • Work hand in hand with the Real Estate Expansion Team to translate global Real Estate strategy and expansion decisions into consistent execution across sites and subsidiaries.
  • Work with People & Talent on workplace-related aspects of the employee experience.

Your Profile

  • Min. 3 years of experience in managing Team Leads or managers (not individual contributors)
  • Min. 7 years of experience in facility and office management
  • Experience setting or rolling out standards, guidelines or governance frameworks across a multi-site or multi-entity organization
  • Experience with vendor management and budget or cost control
  • English and German working proficiency
  • Willingness to travel to other sites and subsidiaries (currently mostly within southern Bavaria); in this context driver’s license
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing, international robotics and technology environment
  • A hands-on, service-oriented mindset paired with structured, process-driven execution

What we offer

  • A dynamic high-tech company, combined with financial soundness and world-class investors.
  • Join an interdisciplinary, international team with 60+ different nationalities in a collaborative work environment.
  • Lots of development opportunities as we continue to grow.
  • Challenging tasks and impactful projects alongside experts that enable professional and personal growth.
  • Corporate Benefits Program covering health, mobility, and learning for 100€ net per month.
  • Modern office facilities with a rooftop terrace overlooking Munich, free drinks & fruits, and regular company events contribute to a good working environment
