Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of DevOps to lead our operations teams at WitnessAI. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in development and operations processes. This role involves both managing a team and being actively involved in both architectural and hands-on technical work.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps / SecOps / MLOps engineers / IT Engineer.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
- Technical Expertise:
- Design and be part of implementing multi cloud highly scalable enterprise microservice infrastructure
- Oversee the automation of infrastructure deployment and management
- Ensure the reliability and performance of enterprise production environments
- Deploy development services and integrate with enterprise security infrastructure
- Help insure successful customer deployments
- Strong knowledge of cloud and enterprise networking architecture
- Compliance background - experienced with SOC2
- Enable developer productivity
- Infrastructure Management:
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Manage operational cost model
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all systems, with a focus on AI security solutions
- Project Management:
- Effective planning, coordination, and execution of DevOps sprints and initiatives
- Work closely with stakeholders to align DevOps goals with business objectives
Qualifications
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting languages / shell
- Coding helpful / solid debugging skills essential
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker) in cloud environments
- Familiarity with observability patterns, monitoring and logging tools
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Salary range
$257,000 - $325,000 (The exact salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.)
