A school culture based on high standards, proactive and responsive support, positive school community partnerships and the celebration of success has resulted in our school enjoying the support of our school community.

Key Responsibilities include

  • Promote a culture of belonging and uphold the school's ASPIRE values and behaviour expectations.
  • Contribute to school planning, reviews and data analysis to support continuous improvement.

Student Engagement

  • Implement proactive, data-informed strategies to improve student engagement, behaviour and belonging.
  • Coordinate Tier 2 case management in collaboration with Deputy Principals, Guidance Officers, HOSES and other support staff.
  • Foster an inclusive environment where students feel safe, supported and connected to the school community.

Parent and Community Partnerships

  • Communicate with parents and carers about sub-school activities, student progress and achievements.
  • Build partnerships with families, external agencies and community organisations to coordinate wraparound support for students.
  • Promote parent and community engagement through information evenings, awards ceremonies and school events.

Data, Systems and Reporting

  • Use OneSchool data and case management records to identify trends, guide interventions and monitor student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of student engagement, wellbeing and behaviour.
  • Evaluate engagement and wellbeing data to assess the effectiveness of strategies and inform future planning.

Events and Student Leadership

  • Coordinate year-level assemblies and events that celebrate student achievement and promote a positive school culture.
  • Organise guest speakers, programs and initiatives within the sub-school.
  • Coordinate student leadership activities, camps and milestone celebrations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in promoting a positive, supportive and high-expectation culture that supports student engagement and achievement.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
