About the role
How would you rebuild customer growth with AI, from a blank slate?
That's the actual brief. Acquisition, retention, measurement and automation, redesigned around AI. It hasn't been done at scale yet. Here, it's your job to try.
And you'd be doing it at a company moving billions of dollars every month for millions of customers, so whatever you find carries weight.
Head of Central Growth Role
You own the measurement, experimentation and automation layer underneath growth. Content, brand and lifecycle teams own storytelling and channels. You work alongside them, working out what actually drives results.
- Run experiments at speed: A/B, multivariate, geo holdout and incrementality tests, with each result feeding the next.
- Settle what's incremental: separate what spend actually caused from what would have happened anyway, then give the company one trusted view of CAC, payback, ROAS, retention and LTV.
- Automate growth with AI: build agents and workflows that replace manual analysis, reporting, segmentation and campaign ops.
- Point the money: recommend where performance budget and engineering hours go across channels, markets and corridors, with evidence behind every call.
- Make wins travel: turn what works in one market into playbooks and automations that scale across corridors.
Why you'll want it
- A genuinely blank slate. You decide how growth gets measured and automated, then you build it, with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
- Your answers get heard. The role has high visibility with senior leadership and works on real business problems, not side projects.
- Room to build a team. You start hands-on, as an individual contributor, with the opportunity to build a team as the function scales.
- Growth that means something. Most of our customers are immigrants supporting family back home. A fix that makes sending money faster or cheaper matters to someone real.
Is this you?
- You'd rather test the claim than trust the playbook. Last-touch attribution and platform-reported numbers make you suspicious, and you can explain why.
- Where most people run three iterations, you'd happily run 80. You've built something with AI you can walk us through.
- You can design a clean experiment and read it honestly, including when nothing moved.
- Your background might be data science, analytics, engineering, product or growth. We’re less focused on years of experience, and more on how you think through problems.
- A marketing background is optional. How you think matters more than your title.
Apply with your CV, rough edges and all. Missing a box or two? Apply anyway. Skeptics very welcome.
