About the role

About Hike Medical

Hike Medical is building the operating system for device-based care. We run the entire path that turns a prescription into a device on a patient's body: the back office that gets the patient ready, the point of care where they're evaluated, and the lab that makes the device. One company, built only for orthotics, prosthetics, and DME.

It's a $100B market, and more than half of every dollar never reaches a patient. It's lost to administration, denials, mispricing, and rework while the person who needs the device waits. That gap is the business, and we built the machine that closes it, across three connected products:

  • Hike Intelligence: AI agents that run the revenue cycle, reading every faxed referral, verifying eligibility, chasing documents, and building audit-ready cases before a human touches a keyboard.
  • Hike Clinical: point-of-care software that lets a clinician evaluate a patient on any phone, generate a Medicare-compliant note, and order the device, all in a single visit.
  • Hike Lab: our own 3D-printing factory, turning a scan into a custom, PDAC-approved device shipped in days, not weeks.

Insoles are the wedge. DME is the bridge. Bionics is the destination. Read the full vision at bionics2040.com.

We've raised $22M through Seed and Series A, backed by top-tier investors who backed companies like OpenAI, Anduril, and Mercury early. We run a fast, results-first, high-ownership culture out of our new SF Rincon Hill office. If you want to work at the frontier of AI, manufacturing, and healthcare, this is the place.

The Opportunity

The GTM Associate is a junior Account Manager. You own the day-to-day relationship with a group of provider accounts, from the first onboarding call through activation and ongoing adoption of Hike's products. It is the entry point to the commercial side of Hike and a direct path to Account Manager, Account Executive, General Manager, or Operations leadership.

Our market is hard to sell into and hard to serve. O&P clinics, podiatry practices, physical therapy centers, and independent DME providers run on analog workflows: fax intake, after-hours paperwork, denied claims, three-to-five-week lab turnarounds. Succeeding here takes people who learn the industry deeply, speak credible clinical and business language, and stay close to customers until the product is working for them.

We hire sharp operators with 1 to 3 years of experience, often from banking, consulting, or a high-performing startup, who want to get into tech, AI, and healthcare and are willing to learn our market from the ground up. You will work alongside senior Account Managers, build real customer relationships early, and earn a larger book of accounts as you prove yourself.

What You'll Do

  • Onboard and activate new providers. Run onboarding calls, get clinicians and staff set up on the platform, and drive each account to its first orders and steady usage.
  • Manage a book of accounts. Be the main point of contact for your providers. Run regular check-ins, track account health, and spot clinicians who are stuck, ordering with errors, or going quiet.
  • Solve problems end to end. Handle the day-to-day issues that come up with orders, billing, and workflow, and work with our support, operations, and engineering teams to resolve them.
  • Support data quality and implementation. Work with our software engineers to get provider data set up correctly during onboarding, so Hike Intelligence can run the revenue cycle cleanly.
  • Grow accounts. Identify opportunities to bring more of Hike's products and more clinicians into an account, and hand qualified opportunities to the right teammate.
  • Keep clean records. Maintain disciplined follow-up and notes in HubSpot for every account you touch.
  • Share what you hear. Help Marketing and Product understand what lands with O&P professionals versus podiatrists, and where providers get stuck.

What Excites Us

  • Mission driven. Hike exists to provide high-quality access to care to the largest number of people possible. There are 7 billion humans on earth, and all of them should have custom orthotics.
  • The owner-operator mindset. You have 1 to 3 years of experience, ideally from banking, consulting, or a fast-moving startup. You think like an owner, not a script-reader, and you're drawn to hard problems in tech, AI, and healthcare.
  • Coachable and curious. You can learn the difference between a pronated and a supinating foot, the basics of medical reimbursement, and how a denial happens, and you want to. You pick up new domains fast.
  • Poised and relentless. You don't flinch at "the doctor is with a patient." You work through front-desk staff, phone trees, and messy workflows with professionalism and persistence.
  • High motor and organized. You move fast, keep your commitments, and manage a high volume of accounts without letting anything slip through the cracks.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive compensation. Strong base plus meaningful upside tied to account and team performance.
  • Meaningful equity. Real ownership in a high-growth startup backed by top VCs.
  • A clear path up. Top performers are promoted fast into Account Manager, AE, and other ownership roles, and are rewarded significantly for it.
  • Full benefits. Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • The hub. Daily collaboration with Hike's founding team out of our SF Rincon Hill office.
  • Free custom insoles. Your feet will thank you.
