About the role

About BrightAI

BrightAI is a physical AI company for the world's essential services. Water, power, oil and gas and industrial operators run aging assets with stretched crews and periodic inspections that miss problems as they develop. BrightAI helps them see the condition of their assets, understand what it means and act before problems reach the people who depend on them. Stateful devices and existing telemetry capture what's happening in the field. Foundation models predict failures and guide people, control systems and robots, and field outcomes help improve the models. The Stateful platform operates across 50,000+ operational locations. The aim is reliable, safe infrastructure and safer crews.

The Role

BrightAI's customers run essential infrastructure, and they buy carefully. Buying groups are large, and sales and deployment cycles are long. As Growth Marketing Lead, you'll own growth across the full customer journey: how operators discover BrightAI, how they move from first interest to qualified evaluation, and how they keep finding value after they become customers. You'll set strategy and priorities across paid, organic, conversion and lifecycle programs, and you'll run much of the work hands-on, including the data, automation and AI-assisted workflows behind it. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Marketing. You'll work closely with product marketing on message and content, design on creative, sales on target accounts and handoff, and Customer Success and Product on onboarding, adoption and expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Own growth strategy, budget and prioritization across acquisition, engagement and retention, and explain the reasoning behind investment and testing decisions.
  • Run paid search, paid social and retargeting programs, such as Google and LinkedIn, with audiences, offers and creative built for specific segments and buying roles.
  • Grow organic discovery through SEO and AEO (answer engine optimization) so BrightAI shows up in search results and AI-generated answers, partnering with product marketing on content priorities and with web owners on technical discoverability.
  • Improve conversion across the website, campaign landing pages, forms, CTAs and key journeys. Prioritize experiments by expected impact, and use sound judgment where traffic is too small for clean statistical tests.
  • Build email nurture and segmentation programs that use behavioral and account signals to educate prospects and re-engage those who aren't ready to talk yet.
  • With Customer Success, Product and Sales, design lifecycle programs for onboarding, adoption, sustained engagement, reactivation, retention and expansion, using customer and account signals where they're available.
  • Extend reach through content distribution, webinars, partner campaigns and account-based programs where the audience fits, coordinating channels so each account sees a coherent journey.
  • Build and maintain the GTM systems behind this work: CRM and marketing automation, enrichment, audience creation, scoring, routing and sales handoff, plus integrations through APIs, webhooks or low-code tools such as Clay or n8n where they fit.
  • Use AI tools for audience research, creative variations, personalization, analysis and production, applying human judgment on quality, accuracy, privacy and permissions.
  • Own tracking and reporting on qualified pipeline, conversion, engagement and adoption, and contribution to retention and expansion. Separate attribution estimates from measured lift, and avoid drawing causal conclusions from small samples.

Skills and Expertise

  • Demonstrated results in paid acquisition and in lifecycle or cross-journey programs, with outcomes you can connect to pipeline or customer value.
  • Deep expertise in one or two growth areas, practical competence in SEO, AEO and conversion optimization, and the judgment to prioritize across the rest of the funnel.
  • Experience marketing to enterprise B2B buyers with complex buying groups, long cycles and imperfect attribution.
  • Fluency with analytics instrumentation, CRM and marketing automation systems, and building workflows with APIs and webhooks.
  • The discipline to judge programs on qualified pipeline, engagement and retention before scaling on clicks, impressions or lead volume.
  • Clear communication and strong partnership with product marketing, design, sales, Customer Success and Product.

Bonus Points

  • SQL or Python for analysis and data work.
  • Account-based marketing for enterprise target accounts.
  • Experience in industrial, energy, utilities or other infrastructure markets.

Work to Share

Please share one cross-funnel program with context, results and your personal contribution, plus one workflow or automation you built. If you have evidence of retention or expansion impact, include it. Redacted or sanitized examples are welcome.
