About the role

About Slash

Slash is building the future of business banking, one industry at a time.

We believe businesses deserve financial infrastructure tailored to how they actually operate, not generic banking products retrofitted with software. We’re creating a new category of business banking that combines the reliability of traditional banking (high yields, competitive rewards, and uncompromising security) with industry-specific software, stablecoins, and AI-native workflows.

Our goal is simple: make businesses more efficient, more competitive, and more profitable.

Founded in 2021, Slash is one of the fastest-growing fintech companies in the world. We power over $30 billion in annualized payment volume and have raised more than $160 million, including a $100 million Series C led by Ribbit Capital, at a $1.4 billion valuation.

Our team brings together fintech operators from Cash App, Brex, and Finix, alongside founders who have built and scaled their own businesses. We’re headquartered in San Francisco (with another office in New York City) and operate with a strong in-person culture.

About the Role

We're always looking for exceptional people to join Slash.

This application is for candidates who are excited about what we're building but don't see an open role that perfectly matches their background today. We're growing quickly across a variety of functions and are interested in meeting talented operators, builders, and problem-solvers who want to help shape the future of business banking.

At Slash, titles matter less than impact. The people who thrive here are highly adaptable, move quickly, and are eager to take ownership of important problems. As we continue to scale, opportunities emerge across many areas of the business, and we're constantly looking for individuals who can help us build, execute, and push the company forward.

Whether your experience is in operations, business development, partnerships, customer success, recruiting, finance, marketing, strategy, legal, or something else entirely, we'd love to hear from you.

You Will

  • Help solve high-priority problems across the business
  • Take ownership of projects and drive them from idea to execution
  • Work closely with teammates across multiple functions
  • Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and customer experiences
  • Use technology, automation, and AI to increase leverage and efficiency
  • Operate with urgency while maintaining a high bar for quality
  • Contribute wherever support is needed as the company grows

What We're Looking For

  • Strong track record of achievement in your field
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and operate in unfamiliar environments
  • High ownership mindset and willingness to take initiative
  • Strong execution skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
  • Desire to work closely with a high-performing team and ambitious founders
  • Ability to leverage AI and automation tools effectively

Nice to Have

  • Experience at a startup or other high-growth environment
  • Experience building processes or systems from scratch
  • Evidence of exceptional initiative
  • Background in fintech, financial services, software, or related industries
  • Experience working across multiple functions or disciplines

You'll Thrive Here If

  • You enjoy being a generalist and wearing many hats
  • You seek ownership rather than waiting for direction
  • You move quickly and communicate clearly
  • You're energized by ambitious goals and high standards
  • You enjoy figuring things out when the path isn't obvious
  • You care more about impact than job titles
  • You want to help build something category-defining from the ground up

Benefits

  • Competitive base salary
  • Equity in a high-growth company
  • Best-in-class health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Daily in-office meals
  • Transportation support
  • High-autonomy, low-bureaucracy environment
