About the role

Filevine is a Legal AI company delivering Legal Operating Intelligence for the future of legal work. Grounded in a singular system of truth, Filevine brings together data, documents, workflows, and teams into one unified platform—where modern legal work happens with clarity and consistency.

Powered by LOIS, the Legal Operating Intelligence System, Filevine connects context across every matter to transform legal operations from reactive to proactive. LOIS reads, understands, and reasons across your data to surface insight, automate complexity, and give professionals the clarity and confidence to see more, know more, and do more. Fueled by a team of exceptional collaborators and innovators, Filevine’s rapid growth has earned AI awards and recognition from Deloitte and Inc. as one of the most innovative and fastest-growing technology companies in the country.

We’re looking for experienced Certified Shorthand Reporters to partner with Filevine as an independent certified court reporting professional through our deposition services network.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a court-reporter-first company that’s redefining the deposition experience, while making sure reporters are supported and respected. As part of our network, you’ll get access to a robust nationwide marketplace of job opportunities and white-glove operational support that help you focus on delivering exceptional transcripts — not hassling with logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and deliver high-quality, verbatim transcripts of depositions and other legal proceedings
  • Use CAT software to scope, proofread, and finalize certified transcripts to the highest standards.
  • Manage proceedings with professionalism, ensuring punctuality, accuracy, decorum, and adherence to procedural rules in your jurisdiction.
  • Mark and manage exhibits.
  • Collaborate with our operations team as needed for scheduling, setup, and technical coordination.
  • Submit completed transcript files within appropriate turnaround time and invoices for prompt payment.

Qualifications

  • Current Georgia Certified Court Reporter certificate (CCR) from the Georgia Board of Court Reporting is required
  • Proven ability to deliver accurate transcripts on deadline.
  • Expertise with CAT software (e.g., Case CATalyst, Eclipse, etc.) and related digital tools.
  • Professionalism, confidentiality, and a client-service mindset when working with attorneys, witnesses, and clients.
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability in fast-paced, high-stakes settings.
