  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Citizenship Requirement: Due to requirements of research contracts with the U.S. federal government, candidates must be U.S. citizens.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not everyone may possess all of the preferred qualifications, the ideal candidate will bring many of the following:

  • Higher Education Experience: Prior experience managing accounts payable, procurement, or financial operations within a Higher Education environment.
  • System Expertise: Hands-on experience with Ellucian Banner, Jaggaer (Runway), Costpoint, or Emburse Enterprise ERP environments.
  • Business Intelligence: Experience utilizing data visualization software (such as Power BI or Tableau) to analyze and present operational or spend data.
  • Customer Support Systems: Experience working within a service call ticketing system to support technical troubleshooting and trace root causes.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of AP-related tax compliance, including Form 1099 preparation, tax withholding, and sales/use tax.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrated adaptability and a proven track record of maintaining team morale and operational stability through major organizational transitions.

Special Instructions to Applicants:

To apply please submit a cover letter addressing each minimum qualification and any applicable preferred qualifications that you meet.
