The Opportunity
We're seeking FIFO Minesite Cleaning Utilities from around Townsville to work a 14:7 roster at MMG Dugald River. Flying to & from Townsville Airport.
About the role
As a Minesite Cleaner, your responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning crib rooms, site offices, toilet blocks and change rooms
- Driving vehicles within the village and mine site
- Cleaning accommodation rooms and village common areas
- Cleaning wet mess facilities and amenities
- Maintaining high hygiene and housekeeping standards
- Using commercial cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- Restocking consumables and maintaining cleaning supplies
- Always following site procedures and safety requirements
Essential Criteria
- Full Working Rights in Australia
- Current Open Australian Driver's Licence with no restrictions - P or L Plates, Interstate or International licenses will not be considered
- Police Clearance (within last 12 months) or willing to obtain one
- Nightshift will be required in these roles, so you must be flexible to night shift rosters
- Previous hospitality and/or cleaning experience and ability to work in a team
- Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening, including ongoing site testing
- Commitment to safety and compliance with ISS & Client standards
