General Summary of the Position
The Manning School of Business at the University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for Adjunct Professors (standard teaching load 1-2 courses per semester). The successful candidates will be expected to teach a variety of finance classes to our undergraduate students starting January 2027. One immediate need is FINA.2000 Personal Finance.
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
- Applicants must have earned a graduate degree in Finance in an AACSB-accredited school
- Ability or experience teaching finance classes
- Industry or professional work experience with continued professional engagement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in teams
- Experience using Canvas or similar learning management systems
Preferred Qualifications
- At least ten years of industry or professional work experience
- Professional experience should reflect substantial level of responsibility in a business or other enterprise operated in accord with business management principles
- Relevant finance certifications (e.g. Certified Financial Planner (CFP))
