  • Prepare for and participate in management interviews and workshops to understand business models, strategic priorities, operational challenges, and technology initiatives.
  • Develop client-ready communications and presentations that facilitate decision-making, communicate project status, identify risks, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Contribute to key project deliverables including technology due diligence reports, assessments, implementation roadmaps, communication plans, project plans, and financial analyses.
  • Partner closely with engagement leadership to proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with West Monroe team members and client stakeholders to establish high-performing project teams.
  • Evaluate client and target company capabilities against Healthcare & Life Sciences industry leading practices.
  • Take ownership of assigned workstreams and deliverables, ensuring quality, completeness, and accuracy.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders across all levels of client and target organizations.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize complex information, and support data-driven recommendations for clients, exercising sound judgment in evaluating outputs
  • Apply AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, automation tools, data models) to enhance insights, improve delivery efficiency, and elevate the quality of client outcomes

Practice Development

  • Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, templates, training materials, and intellectual property that enhance client delivery.
  • Support the continued growth of the Healthcare & Life Sciences M&A practice by contributing to new offerings and delivery capabilities.
  • Actively participate in performance management, coaching, and professional development activities.
  • Support recruiting initiatives, including campus and experienced hire recruiting, as opportunities arise.

  • Develop an understanding of client investment objectives and help tailor solutions that align with business needs.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting or team-based roles across at least two of the following areas: Healthcare, Healthcare IT, Mergers & Acquisitions, or Corporate Development.
  • Experience working with payer, provider, life sciences, healthcare software, or healthcare technology organizations.
  • Interest in healthcare economics, reimbursement models, healthcare policy, regulatory trends, healthcare technology, and interoperability.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze and interpret financial statements, including key healthcare and technology business drivers.
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
