About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to lead environmental management across a major infrastructure opportunity in Adelaide. • Managing environmental risks across multiple construction work fronts
  • Supporting environmental approvals, compliance and assurance
  • Overseeing monitoring, reporting and environmental performance
  • Working with delivery teams to develop practical environmental controls
  • Supporting environmental incident management and continuous improvement
  • Engaging effectively with project stakeholders, contractors and relevant authorities

About You

You will bring:

  • Significant environmental experience across major Australian construction or infrastructure projects
  • Experience in large-scale civil, industrial, building or multidisciplinary construction
  • Strong understanding of Australian environmental legislation and compliance requirements
  • Experience implementing Construction Environmental Management Plans and environmental controls
  • Demonstrated capability managing environmental risk in active construction environments
  • Strong environmental assurance, monitoring and reporting experience
  • Experience working across contractor and subcontractor interfaces
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability

Highly regarded:

  • Tier 1 or major contractor experience
  • Exposure to marine, waterfront, industrial, or similarly complex infrastructure
  • Experience supporting major projects through mobilisation and construction planning
