As Engineering Lead Backend (f/m/d)* – Java & Spring Boot you will accelerate the evolution of our global real estate platform. In this role you will take strategic, technical, and people leadership of the team powering our proprietary B2B CRM. You will champion architecture, DevOps best practices, and AI integration across the SDLC while mentoring talented engineers to deliver high-availability, cloud-native systems.

Tasks that let you grow
- Τake over the strategic, technical, and disciplinary responsibility for one the engineering teams building our Agent Platform.
- Define and align technical goals for your team, setting measurable objectives to ensure efficient and high-quality delivery.
- Lead and steer the full DevOps lifecycle - starting from architecture, (technical) design and development to deployment, operations and continuous optimization.
- Actively foster the adoption and integration of AI across the entire SLDC, in close alignment with the other teams and departments.
- Implement security, reliability, and observability best practices (SLIs/SLOs, logging, tracing, alerting).
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization, including Product Management and Design, the Clouds, Security and Data teams and the C-level management.
- Act as coach and mentor for your engineers , supporting their professional growth.
Are You The Talent We're Looking For?
We are eager to hear from you if you…
👉 Several years of experience in a Principal/Lead Software Engineering role - previous leadership experience is a big plus.
👉 Strong experience building state-of-the-art, scalable and reliable services in a highly complex, distributed environment, based on Java and Spring Boot.
👉 Versed in designing APIs and writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit, integration, contract tests).
👉 Excellent and deep understanding of relational database design and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
👉 Proven expertise and experience in cloud-native architectures (GCP preferred), containers/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD.
👉 Highly proactive, collaborative and product-minded with a strong sense of ownership.
👉 Event-driven systems, domain modeling, distributed systems at scale, security by design, performance tuning.
