As an Account Executive at Databricks, you come with relevant experience selling to Emerging Enterprise (defined as companies annual turnover $250M to $1B) and Digital Native accounts across Iberia (Spain and Portugal). You are a hunter with superb prospecting skills and passion for acquiring new logos. Your informed point of view on Big Data and Advanced Analytics will guide your successful sales strategy together with our teams and partners, allowing you to provide value to our biggest and most valued customers. Along with the chance to close exciting deals, we also offer accelerators above 100% quota accomplishment.
The impact you will have
- Assess your territory and develop a successful execution strategy
- Exceed activity and quarterly revenue targets
- Identify new use case opportunities and showcase value to existing customers
- Use a solution-based approach to selling and creating value for customers
- Promote Databricks' enterprise cloud data platform powered by Apache Spark
- Ensure 100% satisfaction among all customers
- Prioritize opportunities and applying appropriate resources
- Build a plan for success internally at Databricks and externally with your accounts.
What we look for
- Proven track record selling cloud, data or AI solutions to mid-Enterprise customers across Spain and Portugal (experience selling to Digital Natives is highly desirable)
- Solution and business-outcomes focused sales approach (Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, Challenger Sale)
- Experience with consumption-based selling preferred
- Ability to simply articulate intricate cloud & big data technologies and their business value for the customer
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets/quotas
- Business fluency in English and Spanish is required
