About the role

As the Director of Analytics, you will serve as a strategic advisor and technical partner, driving data maturity and digital measurement excellence for our most complex clients. Sitting at the intersection of advanced measurement, web and app analytics, and marketing technology architecture, you will craft robust measurement and data strategies that empower data-driven decision-making.

In this leadership role, you will guide high-impact client engagements while also partnering closely with growth and pitch teams to secure new business. If you are experienced with designing scalable analytics ecosystems, unearthing actionable customer insights, and scaling modern measurement frameworks, this position offers an extraordinary platform to influence client growth and shape our agency’s strategic marketing and experience analytics offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Discovery & Shape Strategy:
  • Facilitate executive and stakeholder discovery workshops.
  • Assess technology maturity, organizational challenges, and capability gaps.
  • Identify opportunities across web/app, customer data, personalization, and journey orchestration.
  • Translate technical findings into clear business value and actionable recommendations.
  • Design Future-State Solutions:
  • Develop strategic roadmaps that drive client business objectives.
  • Quantify solution value via ROI, efficiency gains, and accelerated time-to-market.
  • Architect cross-platform solutions within the broader marketing technology ecosystem.
  • Deliver compelling business cases, architectural diagrams, whiteboarding, and integration concepts.
  • Partner with Sales & Client Teams:
  • Collaborate with partnership sellers, account managers, and technical SMEs.
  • Support business development via technical storytelling and solution positioning.
  • Advise on partnership licensing and growth opportunities.
  • Build client trust through strategic consultation and thought leadership.
  • Drive Innovation & Practice Excellence:
  • Stay at the forefront of analytics technologies, privacy, AI capabilities, and digital experience trends.
  • Create reusable frameworks, business case models, and discovery approaches across engagements.
  • Mentor, upskill, and share knowledge with teammates to elevate overall practice maturity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Data Solution Architecture: Proven experience designing and architecting scalable cross-platform data and marketing technology solutions, with demonstrated success driving value from martech investments.
  • Agency/Consulting Experience: Proven track record delivering client solutions within a digital agency or consulting environment.
  • Analytics Platforms: Deep familiarity with measurement, data collection, and activation programs using GA4, Adobe Analytics, Amplitude, or similar platforms.
  • Tag Management: Hands-on complex implementation experience with Google Tag Manager, Tealium iQ, or Adobe Data Collection.
  • Cloud & Data Strategy: Experience collaborating with data engineers and data scientists to mature clients' utilization of marketing and experience data.
  • Customer Data Platforms (CDPs): Experience with CDPs, identity resolution strategy, and hands-on or strategic configuration of platforms like Segment, mParticle, or Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Server-Side & CAPI: Experience with server-side tagging and Conversion APIs (CAPI).
  • Modern Measurement: Understanding of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM), Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and incrementality testing.
  • Mobile Measurement: Experience with Mobile Measurement Platforms (MMPs) such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch, and app analytics via Firebase.
  • Platform Partnerships: Experience navigating vendor partner ecosystems such as Google Marketing Platform or Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Enterprise Tech Suites: Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform (SA360, DV360, CM360).

What Success Looks Like

  • 30/60/90-Day Milestones: Successfully complete client discovery workshops, establish trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, and deliver initial analytics capability assessments.
  • Strategic Roadmaps: Define and execute phased data maturity roadmaps that drive measurable ROI and accelerated time-to-value for enterprise accounts.
  • Commercial Impact: Partner with pitch and sales teams to secure new business, expand existing partner scope, and demonstrate clear efficiency gains for client investments.
  • Practice Growth & Mentorship: Develop reusable strategic frameworks, upskill team members, and elevate overall team capabilities across data strategy and activation.
