About the role

Lunar Energy was founded to transition homes to 100% clean energy—making our electricity greener, our air cleaner and our energy more safe, secure and reliable for all. We’re a fast-growing, global company building the world’s best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants.

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing team. You will own the Lunar website and play a hands-on part in our email, social, content and events activity, helping us raise awareness of Lunar Energy and turn interest into action.

You will work closely with our design team, web development partner and agencies, and with colleagues across markets and time zones, as our core marketing team is based in California. This is a varied role for someone who enjoys getting stuck into both the detail and the bigger picture of digital marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Lunar website, acting as the main point of contact for all company requests and working in partnership with our web development partner
  • Work with the design team to create designs for new landing pages
  • Maintain and update website content, ensuring information remains accurate, current, engaging and optimised for user experience
  • Support our SEO work and help improve how we show up in both traditional and AI-powered search
  • Support the creation and delivery of email marketing campaigns, including content development, distribution, segmentation and performance monitoring
  • Manage the company’s social media channels (LinkedIn and Instagram), creating content and campaigns that increase awareness, engagement and conversion
  • Publish and schedule organic social content across relevant channels
  • Support the agency that manages our paid social advertising
  • Plan and write content across web copy, email, case studies, brochures and social
  • Work with the design team to produce visual assets, writing clear briefs to guide their work
  • Help plan and coordinate marketing events, from logistics to on-the-day support
  • Monitor, analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and activities using relevant analytics tools and reporting platforms

Your key skills & experience

  • 3 years’ experience in digital marketing, including proven experience in a marketing, communications or digital marketing role
  • Experience developing and delivering marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • A good understanding of digital marketing channels, tools and best practices
  • Experience managing and updating website content using a CMS (ideally Webflow, but we are open to others)
  • Experience managing social media calendars and publishing on social channels
  • Experience using CRM systems and email marketing platforms, ideally including HubSpot, but we are open to other systems
  • Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM
  • Experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • You are organised and proactive, able to work independently and use your initiative
  • You are adaptable and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • You work well with teams across markets and time zones (our core marketing team is based in California)
  • You enjoy working in a smaller team where you can see the huge impact of your work
  • You value learning and approach new information with an open mind, willing to reconsider your opinions when presented with compelling evidence
  • You are autonomous and enjoy managing your own workload and deadlines

Desirable skills

  • Experience in, or a genuine interest in, the renewable energy sector
  • Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments

Duration: 1 year Fixed Term Contract

Location: Hybrid, 2 days in the office
