We are seeking a Design Standards Manager to join the team on an initial two year fixed term contract.

The Design Standards Manager leads the Design Standards Team, overseeing the governance and continuous improvement of SA Power Networks' design standards, including E-Drawings, Compatible Units and assembly libraries for powerline design. The role has been created to drive standardisation, reduce design complexity, and provide technical direction and leadership to drafting officers, ensuring standard assemblies can be readily integrated with new emerging systems, whilst remaining compliant and fit for purpose for Line Designers.

About you

As a newly combined team, you'll help reshape how it operates from the ground up. With SA Power Networks working toward a digital twin and significant changes underway to how E-Drawings and compatible units are structured, this role sits right at the beginning of enabling a major transformation.
