About the role

Who are we?

At Technimove, we’re passionate about transforming the way the world’s leading IT service providers manage their data centres. As the market leader in Data Centre Transformations, we deliver high-quality Professional Services and Data Centre Migrations for global clients, from ambitious start-ups to some of the most recognisable names in tech.

Our secret weapon? Our people. Known as our TechniPeople, we’ve built a diverse, supportive, and ambitious team that thrives on collaboration, innovation, and passion. Some of our colleagues have been with us for over a decade, while many others are just starting their journey — but all share the same energy, drive, and love for what we do.

Location: Field-based across the UK and internationally.

Join Technimove and help deliver complex IT migration and infrastructure projects for customers across enterprise environments.

We’re looking for a multiple motivated and technically driven Field Engineers to support the design, planning, and delivery of infrastructure, networking, cloud, and migration projects. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — from physical server relocations and site surveys to cloud technologies and customer-facing technical workshops.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, consultants, and project teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions while developing your own skills across a wide range of technologies.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the delivery of technical migration and engineering projects
  • Assisting with infrastructure builds, relocations, and implementation activities
  • Collaborating with project managers, consultants, customers, and third parties
  • Supporting pre-sales activity through technical presentations and solution demonstrations
  • Participating in technical workshops, testing, and solution validation
  • Working with networking, cloud, infrastructure, and security technologies
  • Staying current with emerging technologies and industry best practice

What we're looking for

  • Experience working with IT infrastructure, networking, or security technologies
  • Ideally, knowledge of platforms such as Cisco, Meraki, HPE Aruba, VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Understanding of physical server relocations, cabling standards, and infrastructure environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach to travel and working hours when required

Whilst we are looking for full-time members of staff, Technimove always seeks casual members of staff to support us on a flexible basis. Should you not be in the market for a full-time contract but wish to apply as an additional income stream, please apply today!
