Purpose

As a Creative Art Director, you’ll be responsible for adapting and producing ideas for the French market. Working in partnership with a Creative Copywriter and under the supervision of the Creative Director, your main responsibility will be to adapt creative concepts to local briefs and ensure they resonate with the target audience. You’ll also work with the design team to bring concepts to life visually and ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints and deliverables.

Additionally, you’ll be involved in other projects for our global client, including campaign pitches and big-idea presentations.

  • Craft and manage engaging social media content for the brand’s French channels.
  • Determine which photographs, art, or other design elements to use in the creative.
  • Develop the overall look and feel of assets for campaign or marketing initiatives.
  • Review and approve design, artwork, photography and graphic assets done by the studio team and external providers.
  • Meet with clients to present and discuss ongoing work.
  • Come up with big ideas with your copywriter, sell them internally to the Creative Director, and then pitch them to the client.
  • Be punctual and mindful of delivering work on time.
  • Have an interest in cars, popular culture and AI.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Art Director in an advertising or social media agency.
  • Social media native.
  • Must be self-motivated, and able to manage both ideation projects and art-design supervision.
  • Must have problem-solving skills and love creative and technical challenges.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Effective organizational abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced English; French is BIG plus.
  • Passion for video, 3D, motion graphics, AI and/or editing skills are a great asset.
  • Demonstrable experience with automotive marketing is a good to have.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, sexual orientation, or age.
