Nox Group owns and operates Corbins, RMCI, Nox Innovations, and Construction Labels, and our teams set the standard as industry leaders. As we continue to expand our reach nationwide, we seek people who are passionate about personal growth and eager to make a positive impact throughout the industries and communities we serve. We prioritize our people, our partners, and our relationships. Start your journey today and join our skilled team.

We are seeking a Concrete Placer-Finisher to support some of the most innovative, complex, and large-scale data center and mission-critical construction projects in the country. This role will be instrumental in delivering RMCI’s first-generation programs as a General Contractor within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.

  • Cutting and Shaping: Cutting and shaping materials to specified measurements using hand and power tools.
  • Form Stripping: Remove forms once concrete has cured and inspect surfaces for defects or imperfections, making necessary repairs or adjustments.
  • Concrete Repair: Repair and patch concrete surfaces and structures using appropriate materials and techniques.
  • Inspecting Work: Inspecting completed work to ensure conformance with specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety standards and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of tools and materials.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with construction teams, including general contractors, concrete finishers, and other trades, to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a concrete carpenter or in a similar role involving concrete formwork construction.
  • Carpentry Skills: Proficiency in carpentry techniques, including layout, cutting, and assembly of forms.
  • Concrete Knowledge: Understanding of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and curing processes.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in measuring, cutting, and aligning forms to ensure quality concrete structures.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to formwork and concrete placement.

Working Conditions

  • Environment: Work is typically performed outdoors at construction sites, exposed to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
  • Schedule: Full-time, with overtime and weekend work possible depending on project deadlines and requirements

As a Concrete Placer / Finisher, you will specialize in the placement, finishing, and maintenance of concrete surfaces in construction projects. Your role is crucial in ensuring that concrete is poured, leveled, and finished to achieve smooth and durable surfaces according to project specifications and quality standards.
