Territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, and portions of Pennsylvania. This role requires frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Oncology Specialist – Lymphoma (COS) to join our growing oncology diagnostics sales team.

This field-based role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the adoption and growth of Signatera, Natera's personalized, tumor-informed circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) test for molecular residual disease (MRD), with a primary focus on lymphoma.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in hematology/oncology sales, established relationships within academic and community cancer centers, and a passion for advancing precision oncology. You will play a critical role in expanding access to innovative molecular diagnostics, building strategic partnerships with healthcare providers, and supporting improved patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Sales Growth: Achieve and exceed sales objectives by increasing Signatera adoption, expanding the customer base, developing new accounts, and maximizing revenue opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Develop and Execute Territory Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive territory business plan focused on account acquisition, customer retention, market expansion, and sustainable revenue growth.
  • Engage Key Clinical Stakeholders: Build and strengthen relationships with academic hematologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, and key decision-makers within academic medical centers and community oncology practices.
  • Establish Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), institutional stakeholders, and clinical teams to support care pathway development, institutional partnerships, and EMR integration opportunities.
  • Serve as a Clinical and Product Resource: Develop expertise in Signatera, molecular diagnostics, hematologic malignancies, the oncology patient journey, competitive offerings, and reimbursement dynamics to effectively communicate the clinical value of Natera's solutions.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with solid tumor-focused Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS), Associate Clinical Oncology Specialists (ACOS), Medical Affairs, and internal teams to strengthen account relationships, address operational challenges, and support customer success.
  • Optimize Account Performance: Identify opportunities to increase test utilization, improve workflow efficiency, resolve missing information (MI) issues, and maximize account growth and retention.
  • Execute Commercial Initiatives: Implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives, identify market opportunities, and leverage business insights to drive adoption across academic and community oncology settings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in hematology/oncology, molecular diagnostics, surgical oncology, or a closely related healthcare field.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals, developing new business, and growing complex territories.
  • Strong understanding of academic and community oncology markets, clinical workflows, precision medicine, and reimbursement dynamics.
  • Experience engaging hematologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, and other oncology decision-makers strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of lymphoma, hematologic malignancies, and molecular diagnostic testing highly desirable.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50–75% throughout the assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both clinical and executive-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic, data-driven approach to territory management and account development.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical and scientific information into compelling value propositions.
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
