About the role

What your day could look like

As a Clinical Nurse in the Emergency Department, you'll be part of a team that supports people through critical moments with skill, compassion and confidence. You'll have the opportunity to lead care, grow your influence, mentor others and help shape services that make a lasting difference for patients, families and the wider community.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Leading and coordinating high-quality care that helps patients receive the right support when they need it most.
  • Working alongside multidisciplinary colleagues to achieve safe, positive outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sharing your knowledge and experience to support the growth and confidence of emerging clinicians.
  • Driving improvements that strengthen patient experiences, quality of care and team performance.

Let's talk about you!

You're someone who combines clinical expertise with genuine compassion for people. You stay calm under pressure, lead with integrity and treat every patient, family member and colleague with dignity and respect. You enjoy supporting others to succeed, embrace opportunities to learn and bring the courage to make sound decisions when it matters most. Whether you're guiding a complex patient journey or helping shape better ways of working, you're motivated by making a real difference every day.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Strong clinical experience and the ability to manage complex patient needs with confidence.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to safe, patient-centred care and continuous improvement.

You'll stand out from the crowd if you have experience in emergency or acute care and/or postgraduate studies or additional professional development relevant to the specialty.

Beyond the role itself, you'll enjoy the opportunity to build your career, expand your leadership capability and be part of a welcoming regional community where connection, lifestyle and purpose go hand in hand.

Together, you'll help deliver care that reflects Compassion, Integrity, Dignity, Innovation and Courage.
