About the role

What your day could look like

You'll help shape positive experiences for women, babies and families while contributing to a service that sits at the heart of its community. You'll combine advanced clinical practice with leadership, mentoring and continuous improvement, helping deliver care that is safe, compassionate and centred on the needs of every family.

Every day, you'll contribute by:

  • Leading high-quality maternity care that supports healthy outcomes and positive birth experiences
  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues, building a capable, confident and connected workforce
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and navigate complex situations
  • Championing improvements that strengthen safety, quality and the experience of people accessing care

Let's talk about you!

You're the kind of midwife people trust. You bring clinical expertise, sound judgement and a calm presence, while never losing sight of the person behind the care. You value teamwork, embrace learning opportunities and take pride in supporting women and families through significant moments. Whether you're guiding a colleague, advocating for a patient or contributing fresh ideas, you're driven by compassion, integrity, dignity, innovation and courage.

Here's what will help you thrive in this role:

  • Registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Strong clinical capability and experience delivering contemporary maternity care
  • A commitment to quality improvement, lifelong learning and person-centred care

Beyond the role itself, you'll enjoy the opportunity to grow your career, expand your clinical scope, build lasting relationships and enjoy a lifestyle that offers connection and a genuine sense of community.
