About the role

ABOUT US

Our mission at Avelios is to unlock clinical data to power seamless healthcare operations for better patient care. To do so, we have built a modular software platform that digitizes and optimizes workflows in hospitals with cutting-edge technology in a user-friendly way. With our software, we enable hospitals, doctors & nurses to provide their patients with the best possible care.

We are growing fast and want to keep expanding our team and business to fundamentally digitize healthcare for the better. We appreciate different backgrounds and see diversity as one of our strengths.

THE TEAM AND ROLE

We are looking for a Clinical Change Manager (all genders) to lead the change stream in our hospital implementation projects – from kick-off to stable operations. You plan and steer change as a project and make sure clinicians adopt new workflows for good. You work closely with Project Management, Clinical Consulting and Solution Engineering, with hospital teams and, where involved, implementation partners. This role includes frequent on-site presence and travel to customer sites.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsibility for the change stream in customer projects, planned and steered as a project along the overall project plan and quality gates
  • Close collaboration with Project Management, Clinical Consulting and Solution Engineering, as well as with hospital teams and implementation partners where involved
  • Development of stakeholder map, change impact analysis, change story and communication plan together with the hospital
  • Design of the training framework, set-up of super-user and key-user structures, and execution of role-based trainings for clinical stakeholders such as doctors, nurses and administrative staff
  • Steering of go-live readiness and hypercare, including measurement of training KPIs and adoption
  • Handover to day-to-day operations and continuous improvement of our standard change concept through lessons learned

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Several years of hands-on experience in a hospital setting, ideally as a nurse, physician, or other clinically trained professional, with a strong understanding of clinical workflows across wards, outpatient departments, emergency care, operating rooms, or similar environments
  • OR several years of experience in change and project management, ideally in hospitals or clinical IT implementations
  • A solid change toolkit, from stakeholder and change impact analysis to communication, training concepts and adoption KPIs
  • Proven ability to lead a workstream or sub-project with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Confidence as an advisor to hospital leadership, with the empathy and clarity to handle resistance
  • A strong affinity for software and a structured, hands-on working style
  • Fluent German and English skills, and willingness to travel frequently

YOUR BENEFITS

  • Variety in your tasks and the opportunity to take ownership
  • An international, informal team structure in a motivating start-up atmosphere, allowing you to participate directly in our customer growth story and the overall success of Avelios
  • Ability to gain valuable hands-on experience in a startup backed by leading international VCs
  • Support for your personal development through continuous learning and feedback
  • Set your own rhythm with flexible working hours and trust-based time tracking
  • A virtual stock option package (VSOP) that lets you participate in Avelios’ long-term value creation
  • A monthly meal allowance up to 75 euros, full coverage of the Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or a subsidized Wellpass membership, a bike leasing program and Corporate Benefits that give you access to discounts from a wide range of providers in various areas
