🕒 Flexible Casual & Part-Time Opportunities
Successful candidates must be willing to work within a rotational roster, including early morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and public holiday shifts. Support Services Attendants may also be required to work night shifts.

🧼 Hospital Cleaner
- Provide cleaning services across hospital wards, departments, and public areas
- Safely handle cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Identify and report cleaning, maintenance, or safety concerns
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures
- Assist with decontamination of surfaces following clinical incidents
🍽️ Food Services Assistant
- Prepare and present patient meals, including sandwiches, salads, beverages, and snacks
- Assemble meal trays and stock workstations
- Clean and sanitise trays, crockery, cutlery, and food service equipment
- Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with legislation and site procedures
- Deliver excellent service to patients and healthcare teams
🦽 Support Services Attendant
- Safely transport patients throughout the hospital
- Coordinate patient movement services across the site
- Transport medical equipment, supplies, records, and documentation
- Adhere to infection prevention, manual handling, and WHS requirements
- Provide responsive support to clinical and operational teams

✅ Minimum Requirements
- Availability to work a rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment
- Current National Police Clearance (or willingness to obtain) issued within the last 12 months
- Current DHS Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) (not required for St Andrew's Hospital)
- Evidence of, or willingness to obtain, required SA Health immunisations:
- Hepatitis B
- Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)
- Varicella
- Whooping Cough (dTpa)
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
