About the role

At Revlon, we create beauty innovations for everyone that inspire confidence and ignite joy every day.

Breaking beauty boundaries is in our company’s DNA. Since its game-changing launch of the first opaque nail enamel in 1932 (and later, the first long-wear foundation), Revlon has provided consumers with high-quality product innovation, performance, and sophisticated glamour. Elizabeth Arden made waves as a woman-led beauty company in the 1920s. In 1931, Almay became the original hypoallergenic, fragrance-free beauty brand.

Today, Revlon resiliently continues its legacy as a leading global beauty company. Our diverse portfolio—which consists of some of the world’s most iconic brands and product offerings in color cosmetics, skincare, hair color & care, personal care, and fragrances—is sold around the world through prestige, professional, mass, and direct-to-consumer retail channels. These brands include Revlon, Revlon Professional, Elizabeth Arden, Almay, American Crew, CND, Cutex, Mitchum, Sinful Colors, Creme of Nature, Christina Aguilera, John Varvatos, Juicy Couture, Ed Hardy and more.

We honor our heritage, embrace change, and applaud diversity. We champion our employees and celebrate our consumers.

We are Revlon, together, transforming beauty.

  • Build and execute a channel growth strategy focused on penetration, new customers, buying-group access, increased distribution and productive range expansion.
  • Lead senior joint business planning and negotiations with buying groups and strategic export partners.
  • Identify and convert white-space opportunities across traditional trade, formal independents, cash-and-carry, hybrid stores.
  • Set clear regional targets and manage the performance of Regional Sales Managers and sales and merchandising agents through disciplined weekly reviews and recovery plans.
  • Raise in-trade execution standards across availability, merchandising, pricing, promotions, visibility and stock rotation.
  • Use customer, category and regional insights to prioritise hero SKUs, minimum credible ranges and profitable promotional plans.

  • Maintain accurate forecasts, customer plans and performance reporting, with clear actions, owners and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliant, ethical and profitable trading across all wholesale and export activities.

Who you are

  • Strong network and credibility with South African buying groups, wholesalers, independent retailers.
  • Commercially sharp: able to manage targets, margin, trade investment, pricing, forecasts and customer profitability.
  • Proven ability to build customer plans that unlock listings, numeric distribution, range expansion and sustainable sell-through.
  • Senior-level negotiator who can influence owners, executives and buying teams.
  • Hands-on leader with high accountability, pace and follow-through.
  • Data-driven, comfortable with regional performance, customer coverage, distribution and execution scorecards.
  • Working knowledge of export markets, distributors, logistics and regulatory requirements across Southern Africa.

Qualifications
