Specialization: Data, Automation & AI

Demonstrated expertise in:

  • Workflow automation and intelligent process improvement.
  • AI-enabled products, copilots, and agent-based capabilities.
  • Data governance, quality, privacy, and responsible AI practices.
  • AI evaluation, risk management, and human oversight.
  • Applying data, automation, and AI to improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end discovery and requirements for large, complex, or cross-functional initiatives, from initial framing through delivery and adoption.
  • Structure ambiguous or loosely defined problems into a clear analysis approach, sequence of decisions, and set of deliverables.
  • Produce and maintain the requirements artifacts a complex initiative needs, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process and data flows, business rules, and integration or data mappings.
  • Anticipate downstream impacts, exception paths, integration needs, and organizational dependencies before they affect delivery.
  • Facilitate alignment among senior stakeholders with different needs, constraints, and priorities, and drive open questions to closure.
  • Present analysis, options, and recommendations clearly to business and technology leaders, including the implications of each option.
  • Influence solution direction by framing tradeoffs in terms of business outcome, risk, effort, and downstream cost.
  • Support roadmap and prioritization discussions with evidence, impact assessments, and clearly stated dependencies.

  • Experience leading requirements for programs involving several teams, vendors, or business units.
  • Experience with data platform, integration, reporting and analytics, workflow automation, or AI-enabled initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Depth in process analysis, data analysis, and requirements practices, including integration, exception, and downstream impact analysis.
  • Fluency with backlog and work management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Asana, and with process mapping tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.
  • Ability to query and analyze data independently using SQL or comparable methods.
  • Familiarity with design collaboration tools such as Figma, and with AI assistants or automation platforms used to accelerate analysis work.
  • Advanced facilitation and negotiation skills, including experience aligning senior stakeholders with competing priorities.
  • Strong written communication, with a record of documentation that others rely on to make and defend decisions.
  • Sound judgment about scope, risk, and tradeoffs, with the credibility to raise concerns to senior audiences.
  • Advanced certification in business analysis or agile delivery, such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or a recognized agile credential.
