About the role

ScaleOps is redefining autonomous cloud and AI infrastructure. We're on a mission to free DevOps and platform engineers from manual resource management so they can focus on innovation, not tuning resources. The results: maximized performance and a reduction of cloud costs by up to 80%.

As the category leader in Autonomous Cloud and AI Infrastructure Resource Management, we're trusted by leading enterprises including Adobe, Wiz, Epic Games, Northwestern Mutual, Coinbase, DocuSign, and Fortune 100 companies to autonomously manage their most critical production environments.

Backed by Insight Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and other leading VCs with over $210M in funding, ScaleOps is the leading player in a massive and growing market. We are building the autonomous infrastructure management platform that will power the next decade of enterprise compute.

What You'll Be Doing

We're seeking a talented, experienced Software Engineer to join our Backend Engineering team - diving deep into Kubernetes and related technologies like Istio, Helm, and Prometheus, tackling daily engineering challenges, driving innovation in Kubernetes optimization, and working with cutting-edge tools and frameworks such as container orchestration, microservices architecture, and cloud-native applications.

  • Join a highly skilled team building our core product offering.
  • Build a world-class Kubernetes resource management platform to improve the productivity of DevOps teams across the world.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Kubernetes and container technologies.
  • Write extensive code in Go and develop deep expertise in Kubernetes internals.
  • Enjoy a high degree of autonomy and responsibility.

What You'll Bring

  • A positive individual who enjoys working with others.
  • An experienced software engineer with significant hands-on experience developing cloud-based applications.
  • 4+ years of industry experience developing complex, technically demanding, large-scale systems.
  • A good understanding of cloud-native technologies, including container technologies and Kubernetes.
  • A degree in Computer Science from a top academic institution, or relevant experience as a Software Engineer in an IDF technological unit.
  • Someone who enjoys taking ownership and collaborating with others to build a world-class product.
  • The opportunity to significantly impact the company's future, working on the core product alongside top-tier engineers in a culture of innovation.
