About the role

Marketing at Aston Martin is about much more than campaigns. It is about creating moments that inspire, experiences that connect and stories that strengthen one of the world's most iconic luxury brands.

We are looking for a Area Manager (APAC)- Marketing and Communications, to lead marketing activity across Southeast Asia & ANZ, shaping how Aston Martin is experienced by customers, prospects, media and partners throughout the region. This is an opportunity to influence the growth of a luxury performance brand in some of the world's most dynamic markets, working at the intersection of creativity, commercial performance and unforgettable customer experiences.

Based in Shanghai, you'll play a key role within the APAC Marketing team, helping to elevate brand desirability, drive retailer performance and bring global campaigns to life in a way that resonates locally.

You will take ownership of regional marketing strategies and annual plans, partnering closely with retailers to maximise performance and ensure every activity aligns with Aston Martin's premium brand standards. From retail campaigns and major events to CRM journeys, PR initiatives and influencer partnerships, you'll be responsible for creating integrated marketing experiences that drive both engagement and results.

A key part of the role will be to steer and elevate retailer marketing across Southeast Asia & ANZ. You will work closely with dealer partners to translate regional priorities into robust local marketing plans, providing clear direction across campaigns, customer acquisition and retention, CRM, events and brand activation. You will review retailer plans and performance, challenge investment and activity where appropriate, share best practice across markets and use data and ROI insights to continuously improve effectiveness. Acting as a strategic marketing partner to the dealer network, you will help ensure local activity delivers against both commercial objectives and Aston Martin's global brand standards.

This is a role for someone who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. One day you might be collaborating with retailers to optimise campaign performance, and the next you could be leading a flagship event, shaping market PR activity, working with key media, launching an influencer partnership or supporting regional activations linked to Formula One and other high-profile brand initiatives.

Success in this role will come from your ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and use data to make informed decisions. You'll be comfortable analysing campaign performance, monitoring ROI, identifying opportunities for improvement and translating insights into meaningful actions that support business growth.

We're looking for someone with a strong background in marketing, ideally gained within luxury, automotive, retail or premium consumer brands. You'll bring experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, working with agencies and external partners, and collaborating across multiple functions to deliver ambitious objectives. Knowledge of the Southeast Asia & ANZ markets is important, alongside fluency in English. Additional Asian language skills would be advantageous.

Beyond experience, we're looking for someone who is naturally curious, commercially aware and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll have the confidence to challenge convention, the attention to detail expected of a luxury brand and the drive to make a genuine impact across the region.

In return, you'll join a global brand that continues to redefine modern luxury performance. You'll have the opportunity to work across international markets, collaborate with talented colleagues throughout the APAC region and play a visible role in shaping the future of Aston Martin's customer experience. The role also offers the potential for future progression into the wider Aston Martin headquarters marketing organisation.
