About the role

A well-established architectural design firm is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Draftsman to join their team in a fully onsite role in the Tampa area. This firm specializes in builder-series residential projects including single-family homes, townhomes, and condominiums, while also supporting select light commercial projects. • Interpreting and implementing redlines from architects, project managers, engineers, and builder clients
  • Coordinating with structural engineers, truss manufacturers, and MEP consultants to integrate drawings into complete CD sets
  • Reviewing drawings for quality control, constructability, and consistency
  • Preparing and updating permit-ready plan sets and responding to building department comments
  • Providing drafting support during construction for field revisions and builder-requested changes

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of architectural drafting experience, ideally within a residential production-home environment
  • Strong experience preparing Construction Documents from concept through permit-ready sets
