Today we are supporting a large community of scientists and engineers to use our products in many challenging research fields. To develop further our customer base, ensure their success and to pursue new activities in the EMEA region, we are looking to grow our team of Application Scientists in Zurich.

In this role, you will work closely with our users by assuming an active, technical involvement in our sales and business development activities. You will engage with existing and prospective accounts, learn about both our market and customers and contribute to our mutual success.

Your responsibilities

  • Engage in technical discussions with new customers to support our test & measurements sales in EMEA.
  • Ensure application-specific support and customer success.
  • Nurture an active network in the research community.
  • Represent Zurich Instruments at trade shows and community-specific conferences.
  • Understand technical requirements from customers and communicate to product management and RnD.

Your profile

  • Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar, related to the application fields of our instruments.
  • Hands-on experience with control and measurement instrumentation, including RF electronics.
  • Proficiency in programming lab equipment and experiments.
  • Experience in sales and business development in academic and industrial markets is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills; fluency in English is a must.
  • Willingness to travel 30%.

We offer a diverse work environment with an open and transparent company culture where personal development forms the basis of our success. We thrive on cooperation and support distributed decision-making that allows everyone to take responsibility and generate substantial impact from the start and on many levels.

Now is a great time to join the team.

We look forward to receiving your resume and motivation letter.
