About the role

Mission

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear.

In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives.

Role Purpose

At Neko Health, our mission is to deliver proactive healthcare for all, empowering members to take control of their health through cutting-edge technology and compassionate care. As an Annotation Coordinator, you will support our AI and Machine Learning teams by ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accurately annotated health-related data. You will combine hands-on annotation and review work with coordinating and supervising a team of Data Annotators, including planning resources, supporting performance and development, and maintaining consistent quality standards. Your work will help create the datasets that enable the development and improvement of our preventive healthcare technology. This role requires a high level of integrity, strong attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to lead and support others while working efficiently with large volumes of data.

What You’ll Deliver in the First 6–12 Months

  • Label and quality-check images/audio using our annotation tools, alongside your coordination responsibilities.
  • Review the work of Data Annotators, provide clear feedback, and maintain consistent quality across the team.
  • Plan resources and workload, and confirm working schedules to meet delivery targets.
  • Support the performance, training, and career progression of Data Annotators.
  • Flag unclear cases or data issues, and escalate to the wider team when needed.
  • Help improve our labelling instructions by reporting edge cases, tool friction, and recurring quality issues.

Requirements

  • Comfortable working on a computer all day and a fast learner with new software.
  • Experience in data annotation, data analysis, data science, or medical imaging.
  • Experience coordinating, supervising, or training others, formally or informally.
  • High attention to detail and consistency; you enjoy structured tasks.
  • Organised and reliable, able to balance planning and delivery targets without sacrificing quality.
  • Clear communicator, comfortable giving constructive feedback.
  • Professional with sensitive data, with a privacy-first mindset.
  • Eligible to work in Sweden.

Preferred

  • Experience with annotation tools, QA/review work, or production workflows at scale.
  • Prior experience in a team lead, supervisor, or workforce planning role.
  • Interest in health/tech, data science, machine learning, or AI (no medical background required).
