About the role

About the Role

iCapital is looking to hire an Internal Wholesale Associate to join the Alternative Distribution team. The ideal candidate will work with new and existing advisors throughout the lifecycle of the alternative investment. You'll partner with External Wholesalers and own advisor relationships actively prospecting, educating, and closing new business while deepening engagement with existing clients. You'll be the connective tissue between financial advisors and iCapital's full ecosystem, driving platform adoption and revenue growth across our alternatives marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Build pipeline and drive revenue — proactively prospect and activate new financial advisors, delivering a compelling iCapital value proposition that converts interest into investment activity.
  • Lead go-to-market campaigns — spearhead outreach around new product launches, conferences, and thought leadership content to generate qualified engagement and accelerate the sales cycle.
  • Be a trusted alternatives expert — continuously deepen your knowledge of alternative investment products so you can consult advisors with confidence and credibility at every stage of the deal.
  • Drive CRM discipline — maintain sharp Salesforce records and advisor profiles that fuel smarter targeting and stronger team performance across the firm.
  • Manage and grow referral revenue — identify and route high-potential opportunities to the iCapital Structured Investments, Architect, and Client Solutions teams.
  • Act as the main point of contact and problem solver for advisors regarding investment creation and servicing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of outbound sales experience — you know how to pick up the phone, build rapport fast, and move prospects through a funnel
  • Background in investment or financial services; familiarity with alternatives is a strong plus
  • Strong command of Salesforce, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word; Tableau or BI tools a bonus
  • Exceptional communication skills, sharp critical thinking, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • FINRA SIE, Series 7 and Series 63 licenses.
  • Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certification preferred or attainment within 2 years of hiring date
