About the role

About the Role

ARX Robotics develops modular robotic platforms and autonomy software for military and security forces across Europe. As an AI Operations Engineer (m/f/d), you will make sure that the AI systems we build run reliably, securely, and at scale, from model deployment and monitoring to the internal AI tools our teams use every day. You will work at the intersection of engineering, data, and operations, turning AI capabilities into dependable products and workflows.

What You'll Build

  • Reliable pipelines for deploying, monitoring, and updating AI and autonomy models in production environments
  • Observability and evaluation frameworks to track model performance, data drift, and system health
  • Automation for data ingestion, training workflows, and release processes
  • Integrations and internal AI tooling that support engineering, operations, and governance teams
  • Documentation and runbooks that keep AI systems auditable and maintainable
  • Operational controls aligned with information security, compliance, and export control requirements

What You Bring

  • Several years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, platform engineering, or a comparable operations role
  • Solid Python skills and experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code
  • Familiarity with ML lifecycle tools and model monitoring solutions
  • Understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and modern software architectures
  • A structured, documentation-driven way of working and high standards for accuracy and accountability
  • Awareness of security, compliance, and responsible AI practices; experience in regulated or defense-related environments is a plus
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus

Please note: You do not need to meet every single requirement to apply. We welcome motivated candidates who are eager to grow into the role and develop their expertise further.
