  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
  • Provide clinical recommendations to support safe and effective patient management.
  • Predominantly work at London Bridge Hospital, with occasional reviews required at the Guy’s site.
  • Where suitably qualified and experienced, undertake Fibreoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and Videofluoroscopic Swallowing Assessments (VFSS).

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
  • Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
  • Proven clinical experience working within a critical care environment.
  • Demonstrable experience and confidence in the independent management of patients with tracheostomies.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Desirable experience
