About the role

About the role

Join the Oral Health Centre at STARS as an Administration Officer and play a key role in delivering exceptional patient experiences through high-quality frontline reception and administrative support services. As the first point of contact for patients, staff and stakeholders, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy clinical environment while supporting the provision of quality oral health services.

In this role, you will manage appointment scheduling, respond to enquiries, maintain accurate records, provide systems and administrative support, coordinate meeting documentation and contribute to efficient service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and making a positive difference to patient care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Provide professional frontline reception services and act as a key point of contact for patients, staff, students and stakeholders.
  • Manage appointment scheduling processes to support efficient clinic operations and optimal resource utilisation.
  • Maintain accurate patient information, perform high-volume data entry and ensure records are managed in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes and provide confidential administrative support to the Oral Health Centre team.
  • Assist with stores management, equipment coordination, invoice processing and general administrative activities that support service delivery.

Benefits when working for us

  • Rewarding career and development opportunities across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical areas
  • Value driven organisation which provides a work environment that is safe, satisfying, flexible, and promotes a healthy work-life balance
  • Flexible working arrangements and competitive salary rates with annual incremental increases
  • Benefit from a higher than standard employer contribution to Superannuation of up to 12.75% and access to salary packaging

Metro North Health offers a dynamic and progressive environment at the forefront of healthcare, research, and education. With a strong commitment to inclusion, flexibility, and professional development, we provide meaningful opportunities in a workplace that puts people first.
