About the Role

We are looking for an Accounts Administrator to join our Auckland finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or build their career in finance and administration within a supportive, fast-paced business.

In this role, you will provide administrative support across accounts payable and general finance functions, helping to ensure financial information is processed accurately and efficiently. Working alongside an experienced finance team, you will gain valuable hands-on experience while developing your skills in accounts administration, supplier management and financial processes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Process supplier invoices and enter data accurately into the accounting system.
  • Review invoice information for completeness and accuracy, resolving any discrepancies where required.
  • Maintain supplier records, including contact details, banking information and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with accounts payable processing, payment preparation and invoice approvals.
  • Respond to supplier and internal enquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Complete supplier statement reconciliations and follow up outstanding items.
  • Maintain accurate electronic filing and finance records.
  • Support month-end administrative activities and other finance-related tasks as required.
  • Assist with reporting, data entry and general administrative support for the finance team.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy.

About You

  • You are interested in developing a career in finance, accounting or business administration.
  • You have strong attention to detail and enjoy working with numbers and information.
  • You are organised, reliable and able to manage competing priorities.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally with a wide range of people.
  • You are confident using computer systems and learning new processes.
  • You have basic Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Previous administration, customer service, accounts, or finance support experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • You have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a strong customer service focus.

Why Qube?

At Qube, you'll join a supportive team within a growing Australasian organisation that values safety, integrity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

We offer:

  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • A supportive and experienced team environment
  • Exposure to a broad range of finance and business processes
  • The opportunity to build a long-term career in finance and administration
  • Free Southern Cross health insurance (after 6 months)

We value diversity and inclusion—join our dynamic, growing team today!
