Account Executive — US Northeast/Midwest (US-Based)

What You Will Do: Own the full sales cycle for mid-market HR and legal buyers, from discovery and demos to pricing, negotiation, and close; shape the future of HR tech by closing meaningful deals and helping organizations solve compliance problems. Report directly to the Director of Sales.
Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the full sales cycle, from discovery and demos to pricing, negotiation, and close
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities through self-generated outbound, inbound leads, and SDR support
- Deliver consultative sales experiences rooted in understanding HR compliance needs and urgency
- Collaborate with SDRs to improve outreach messaging and conversion rates
- Keep detailed records of opportunities, objections, and buying timelines in HubSpot and Salesforce
- Stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape
- Communicate feedback and trends to Marketing and Product teams
- Partner with Customer Success for seamless handoff and long-term value
- Drive referrals and expansion opportunities within your book of business
Who You Are / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field, or 4 years of relevant work experience in lieu
- 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, preferably in HR, compliance, or legal tech
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Familiar with HubSpot, Salesforce, Salesloft, Slack, Loom, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Comfortable in a startup environment and able to shape processes and strategy
- Strong communicator with a consultative approach to listening, problem-solving, and closing
- Values-driven: transparent, customer-focused, accountable, and team-oriented
Location & Hours: Based in the Northeast or Midwest U.S.; will manage the Northeast/Midwest direct sales territory. Some travel required for networking, team on-sites, conferences, and customer meetings.
Compensation & Benefits: Base salary plus a generous, non-capped commission plan with quota, at-target commission rate, and accelerators.
