About the role

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role

Crusoe.ai is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to lead our efforts in acquiring emerging AI-native companies in the AI/ML cloud infrastructure market. This role will focus on driving Crusoe's growth by engaging with fast-growing AI startups and scale-ups that need access to high-performance, sustainable cloud capacity and move quickly on decisions. You will be part of an innovative and rapidly growing company, working with cutting-edge technology that is transforming cloud computing by leveraging stranded energy resources to power AI workloads.

As an Account Executive - Emerging AI, you will play a pivotal role in scaling Crusoe's business, running a high-velocity new logo motion, and building long-term relationships with fast-growing customers. You will own a new logo quota and work a pipeline where deals typically move from first call to close in weeks, with initial commitments in the seven figures and expansion into eight figures as customers scale. Your contributions will directly support Crusoe's mission to drive both growth and sustainability, making a significant impact in the AI cloud space.

This role will be onsite 5 days a week at our San Francisco office.

What You'll Be Working On

  • Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals at pace and maintaining long-term client relationships.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to deliver customized, high-performance cloud solutions.
  • Engage with Founders and Technical Leaders: Build and nurture relationships with founders, CTOs, and heads of infrastructure and ML at AI-native companies, positioning Crusoe as the preferred partner for their AI cloud infrastructure needs.
  • Target Key Segments: Focus on AI-native startups and scale-ups, including model developers and AI application builders, leveraging Crusoe's capacity availability, performance, and speed to deploy to meet customer needs.
  • Build Pipeline: Generate new opportunities through outbound prospecting, the AI startup and venture ecosystem, and partner relationships.
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Achieve sales quotas through new customer acquisition, and manage and grow accounts post-sale as customers scale their compute needs, ensuring continued customer success and satisfaction.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • 5+ Years of B2B Sales Experience: Proven track record of consistent quota attainment in new logo, velocity environments, including six- to seven-figure deals, ideally selling cloud, infrastructure, data, security, or developer-focused products. Familiarity with hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Understanding of AI/ML Workloads: Working knowledge of how AI teams train, run, and buy compute for models, with the ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. Experience selling infrastructure products that support AI workloads is a plus.
  • Qualification & Negotiation Skills: Ability to qualify tightly, negotiate efficiently (including capacity commitments and multi-year terms), and move deals from first conversation to close quickly.
  • Relationship Management: Experience nurturing long-term relationships with customers, focusing on driving growth through account expansion.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage and influence founders and technical leaders, effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Structured Sales Approach: A disciplined, value-based approach to qualification and pipeline management.

Bonus Points

  • Experience selling GPU or AI compute
  • Training in MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or Force Management
  • Existing relationships in the AI startup and venture ecosystem
